SC Telco’s Katie Mitchell Receives CUDE Designation

cudeForty credit union professionals became Credit Union Development Educators (CUDEs) after being guided by dedicated program facilitators and mentors through the intensive Credit Union Development Education (DE) Training from the National Credit Union Foundation (the Foundation).

SC Telco is proud to announce that Katie Mitchell, Electronic Services Manager,  earned her CUDE designation.  Katie manages the electronic delivery channels such as online banking, ACH, bill pay, and card services. She has over 15 years of experience working in the credit union industry in the areas of finance, payroll, and electronic services. She lives in Greenville with her husband and three children and enjoys watching her sons play baseball, gardening and cooking.

Katie is passionate about the credit union movement and has been a lifelong credit union member. She recently earned her CUDE certification and wants to apply her knowledge by developing new ways to promote the credit union movement and share its’ cooperative principles with those that could benefit from it the most.

The mission of the Credit Union Development Education (DE) program is to promote credit unions’ social responsibility and domestic and international development through interactive adult education and professional networking. By linking credit unions’ past and present, the DE program brings renewed relevance to credit unions’ seven cooperative principles and the philosophy of “People Helping People.”
