SC Telco hires Sandra Hammack, an industry leader with decades of experience, to serve as Senior Vice President of Human Resources
GREENVILLE, SC — SC Telco Federal Credit Union has added a new member to its Human Resources team. In late June, Sandra Hammack, who goes by Sam, joined SC Telco as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
“We feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to attract the kind of talent and leadership that Sam Hammack will bring to our team,” said Steve Harkins, President and CEO of SC Telco. “She was looking to transition to a smaller company with a family-like atmosphere, and SC Telco felt like the right fit.”
Hammack has over 20 years of Human Resource leadership experience with a range of Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies. She earned her B.A. from Winthrop University, followed by an MBA from Clemson University, and she holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation.
“Her experience with larger companies will contribute a depth of experience and rich background in HR strategy, compensation, benefits, training, and team leadership to our talent management efforts,” explained Harkins.
Hammack replaces Patti Seymore, who retired this past summer, and broadens SC Telco’s talent acquisition and management expertise as the Board of Directors and senior leadership team prepare to implement a new strategic plan beginning in 2019.
