SC Telco Federal Credit Union EVP to serve as board member for the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation
Greenville, SC — Executive Vice President Brian McKay has been named to the Board of Directors for the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation. With a rich 25-year history, the Foundation partners with credit unions of the Carolinas to provide collaborative opportunities in charitable giving for a greater community impact.
Among the many philanthropic initiatives of the Foundation, the most notable is the fundraising efforts for Victory Junction – a magical camp experience for children with serious medical conditions. The Foundation has contributed more than $4,000,000 and serves as the exclusive sponsor of the Victory Junction’s Reach Program. Other charitable efforts include community and disaster relief grants, as well as providing scholarship opportunities to North and South Carolina credit union members.
“I have observed first-hand the great impact that the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation has on the communities we serve,” McKay shared. “It is a true honor to serve an organization that embodies the credit union way – putting our members and communities first.”
McKay will serve a three-year term, alongside other credit union leaders and business partner professionals of the Carolinas.
