Greenville-based credit union receives distinguished award for second consecutive year
Greenville, S.C. – SC Telco Federal Credit Union, a not-for-profit financial cooperative headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, has been recognized as a Forbes Best-in-State Credit Union list for the second year in a row.
In collaboration with analytics firm, Statista, Forbes selected 2019 award recipients based on an independent survey of more than 25,000 participants who rated credit unions on various criteria including trustworthiness, digital services, financial advice, branch services, and member satisfaction. Of the 61 credit unions with headquarters in South Carolina, SC Telco ranked in the top five, an accomplishment that earned them a spot on the list, which was published in June of 2019.
“When your mission involves helping people secure their financial futures, consistency is crucial,” said President and CEO, Steve Harkins. “Member satisfaction has been and will continue to be the primary measure of our success as a financial cooperative. It is a tremendous honor to be recognized as a Forbes Best-In-State Credit Union two years in a row—not only because Forbes is one of the most respected names in the business and financial industries, but because it confirms that our members trust us to meet their needs on a consistent basis.”
The complete list of award recipients can be found on the Forbes Best-In-State Credit Unions website.
