SC Telco Federal Credit Union, headquartered in the Upstate, continues to grow and expand. The senior leadership team has made an essential organizational structure change, promoting Chief Operating Officer Brian McKay to Executive Vice President.
McKay, who has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, began his career at SC Telco Federal Credit Union in 2004. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the daily operations of the credit union and will oversee all areas of the organization. McKay will also be primarily accountable for the successful execution of the credit union’s ongoing strategy initiatives.
“SC Telco is on the cusp of a new strategic plan, we had one key team member retire recently, and within two years I will retire.” said Steve Harkins, SC Telco President and CEO. “These factors make our hiring and promoting decisions critical. The Board of Directors and I could not be more confident in Brian McKay’s ability to prepare our organization for these changes in leadership and for the exciting opportunities we have ahead of us.”
