Mobile Deposit is a safe, secure way to deposit checks as soon as you receive them, no matter where you are.

No more skipping your lunch hour to go to the credit union or searching for a CO-OP Shared Branch when you’re on the road. Simply log in to the SC Telco Mobile Banking app, choose ‘Check Deposit’ from the menu, and take a picture of the front and back of your check.

  1. Make sure that you are enrolled in MONEYLINK℠ Online Banking and have downloaded the SC Telco Mobile Banking app
  2. Log in to the SC Telco Mobile Bank app
  3. Tap the Menu Button
  4. Tap Check Deposit
  5. Read the Disclosure and select Continue
  6. Endorse your check with your signature, account number, and “Deposit Only to SC Telco FCU” on the back
  7. Tap Deposit Check
  8. Snap a picture of the front and back of the check
  9. Fill in the amount and choose which account you want the deposit to go to, then tap Continue
  10. Done! You will receive a confirmation email that your check has been sent and another when your deposit is accepted.

After enrolling in MONEYLINK℠ Online Banking and downloading the SC Telco Mobile Banking app, log in to the SC Telco Mobile Banking app. Choose Check Deposit from the Menu and follow the prompts—the app will walk you through the process step-by-step.

Our mobile banking app is available across multiple platforms and devices, including iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, Kindle, and Blackberry. Whatever web-enabled phone or tablet you have will likely work with our mobile banking app.

Before you are able to deposit your check through our mobile banking app, you will be shown a disclosure. Please read this disclosure thoroughly as it explains the endorsement process. Members must sign their name, write their account number, and write “Deposit only to SC Telco FCU” on the back of their check.

Your privacy and security are very important to us. We fully encrypt all wireless communication with our members, including our mobile apps. We also never store personal or financial information on your phone, and all mobile deposits are fully insured by the NCUA, the same as in-branch transactions.

You will receive two email messages to track the status of your deposit. The first email will confirm that your deposit has been Received. The second email will inform you whether your deposit has been Accepted or Cannot Be Accepted.

There are a number of reasons that a check may not be accepted through MONEYLINK℠ Mobile Deposit. The most common reasons include improper endorsement of the check, a bad or blurry image of the check, or an incomplete check (no signature, no date, amount not fully filled in, etc.).

Checks deposited before 12:00 PM EST will be available in your account the same day. Checks deposited after 12:00 PM but before 4:00 PM EST will be available in your account the following business day.

We recommend that you file checks deposited through MONEYLINK℠ Mobile Deposit for 30 days. Make sure that the check shows up in your account and that it is not returned to you for any reason. After this time, it is best to destroy or shred your check.
